Salat Time Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 27, 2026
This policy explains what data the Salat Time Android app (com.salattime) collects, why, and where it is sent. The app is developed by Miri Development.
In short
- The app has no sign-up, no accounts and no ads.
- Your coordinates are stored on your device only. The app itself does not send them to us or to analytics.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics for usage statistics.
- We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
Location
Prayer times and the Qibla direction depend on where you are. The app therefore asks for approximate location, only while it is open. It never asks for precise location or background location access.
- The last received coordinates are stored on the device. They are used to calculate the schedule and to plan reminders, including while the app is closed.
- If the calculation method is detected automatically, the app sends the coordinates to the Android geocoding service, which on most devices is provided by Google: when no method has been detected yet, and again after a move of 100 km or more from the place where it was last detected. The app receives only the country code from it, to choose the calculation method. When a method is chosen manually, no requests are made.
- Without location access the schedule cannot be calculated; the app then shows a button to ask again.
Notifications
Prayer reminders are created and shown on the device itself. The app does not use server push notifications and does not obtain a push identifier.
Calendar (optional)
If you turn on "Calendar events" in settings, the app asks for calendar access and adds events with prayer times and reminders to the device's primary calendar.
- The app reads events only within the period of its reminders and changes or deletes only its own events (marked "namazhelper").
- If the primary calendar is linked to an account, for example Google, the events are synced with it under that service's rules.
- When you turn the option off, the events created by the app are deleted.
Compass
The compass uses only the device's sensors; no data is sent anywhere.
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. It collects:
- Actions in the app: switching between tabs and changes to settings (theme, reminder time, notifications and calendar switches, calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule), and the device language on first launch.
- Identifiers: the app instance ID assigned by Firebase, and the Android ID. The Android ID is issued by Android separately for each app on a device, is not visible to other apps, and changes on a factory reset.
- Device information: model, Android version and app version.
- Approximate location from the IP address: Firebase determines the country and region from the IP address the data is sent from. Coordinates are not sent to analytics.
The Advertising ID is not collected, and Firebase advertising features are turned off. Data is sent encrypted (TLS) and processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
Who receives data
Only Google, within the services described above: Firebase Analytics and the geocoding service. No one else. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
- Settings and coordinates are stored on the device only and are not included in Android cloud backups. Uninstalling the app deletes them completely.
- Detailed event records are deleted automatically after 2 months, and analytics data linked to device identifiers 14 months after the last use of the app. After that only aggregated statistics remain (for example, the number of users per country), which are not linked to any device.
- Analytics identifiers are not shown in the app, and there are no accounts through which we could find your data. So on request we most likely cannot tell which records belong to you. If you have questions, write to us at miri.development@gmail.com and we will try to help.
Permissions
The app asks for:
- approximate location;
- notifications;
- alarms & reminders (Android 12 and newer), only so that prayer notifications arrive on time;
- calendar, only when you turn that option on.
Any permission can be revoked in Android system settings. The app also uses internet access (for analytics) and starts after a reboot (to restore reminders).
Children
The app is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.

Местоположение
Время намазов и направление на Киблу зависят от того, где вы находитесь. Поэтому приложение запрашивает доступ к приблизительному местоположению, только пока оно открыто. Точное местоположение и доступ в фоновом режиме не запрашиваются.
- Последние полученные координаты сохраняются на устройстве. По ним рассчитывается расписание и планируются напоминания, в том числе когда приложение закрыто.
- Если метод расчёта определяется автоматически, приложение передаёт координаты системной службе геокодирования Android: когда метод ещё не определён и повторно после переезда на 100 км или больше от места, где он был определён в последний раз. На большинстве устройств эту службу предоставляет Google. Приложение получает от неё только код страны, чтобы выбрать метод расчёта. Если метод выбран вручную, запросы не отправляются.
- Без доступа к местоположению расписание рассчитать нельзя. В этом случае приложение показывает кнопку, чтобы повторить запрос.
Уведомления
Напоминания о намазах создаются и показываются на самом устройстве. Приложение не использует push-уведомления с сервера и не получает для них идентификатор.
Календарь (по желанию)
Если включить в настройках «События в календаре», приложение попросит доступ к календарю и создаст в основном календаре устройства события с временем намазов и напоминаниями.
- Приложение читает события только за период своих напоминаний и изменяет или удаляет только собственные события (с пометкой «namazhelper»).
- Если основной календарь привязан к аккаунту, например Google, события синхронизируются с ним по правилам этого сервиса.
- Если выключить эту опцию, созданные приложением события будут удалены.
Компас
Компас работает только на датчиках устройства, данные никуда не передаются.
Аналитика
Мы используем Google Firebase Analytics, чтобы понимать, как пользуются приложением, и улучшать его. Собираются:
- Действия в приложении: переходы между вкладками и изменения настроек (тема, время напоминания, включение уведомлений и календаря, метод расчёта, мазхаб для Асра, правило для высоких широт), а также язык устройства при первом запуске.
- Идентификаторы: идентификатор экземпляра приложения, который назначает Firebase, и Android ID. Android ID выдаётся каждому приложению на устройстве отдельно, другим приложениям он не виден и меняется при сбросе устройства к заводским настройкам.
- Сведения об устройстве: модель, версия Android и версия приложения.
- Примерное местоположение по IP-адресу: Firebase определяет страну и регион по IP-адресу, с которого отправляются данные. Координаты в аналитику не передаются.
Рекламный идентификатор (Advertising ID) не собирается, рекламные функции Firebase отключены. Данные передаются в зашифрованном виде (TLS) и обрабатываются Google согласно Политике конфиденциальности Google.
Кому передаются данные
Только Google, в рамках описанных выше сервисов: Firebase Analytics и служба геокодирования. Больше никому. Мы не продаём и не передаём данные для рекламы.
Хранение и удаление
- Настройки и координаты хранятся только на устройстве и не попадают в облачную резервную копию Android. Удаление приложения удаляет их полностью.
- Подробные записи событий автоматически удаляются через 2 месяца, а данные аналитики, связанные с идентификаторами устройства, — через 14 месяцев после последнего использования приложения. После этого остаётся только обобщённая статистика (например, число пользователей по странам), которая не связана с конкретным устройством.
- Идентификаторы аналитики не показываются в приложении, и у нас нет аккаунтов, по которым можно найти ваши данные. Поэтому по запросу мы, скорее всего, не сможем определить, какие записи принадлежат вам. Если у вас есть вопросы, напишите нам на miri.development@gmail.com, и мы постараемся помочь.
Разрешения
Приложение запрашивает:
- приблизительное местоположение;
- уведомления;
- будильники и напоминания (Android 12 и новее), только чтобы уведомления о намазе приходили вовремя;
- календарь, только при включении этой опции.
Любое разрешение можно отозвать в системных настройках Android. Кроме того, приложение использует доступ в интернет (для аналитики) и запуск после перезагрузки (чтобы восстановить напоминания).
Дети
Приложение не предназначено специально для детей младше 13 лет, и мы сознательно не собираем их данные.
Изменения
Если политика изменится, новая версия появится на этой странице с новой датой.

Cette politique décrit les données que collecte l'application Android Salat Time (com.salattime), pourquoi, et où elles sont envoyées. L'application est développée par Miri Development.
En bref
- L'application n'a ni inscription, ni compte, ni publicité.
- Vos coordonnées sont stockées uniquement sur votre appareil. L'application ne les envoie ni à nous, ni aux statistiques.

Localisation
Les horaires de prière et la direction de la Qibla dépendent de l'endroit où vous vous trouvez. L'application demande donc l'accès à votre position approximative, uniquement lorsqu'elle est ouverte. Elle ne demande jamais la position précise ni l'accès en arrière-plan.
- Les dernières coordonnées reçues sont enregistrées sur l'appareil. Elles servent à calculer les horaires et à planifier les rappels, y compris lorsque l'application est fermée.
- Si la méthode de calcul est détectée automatiquement, l'application envoie les coordonnées au service de géocodage d'Android, fourni par Google sur la plupart des appareils : lorsqu'aucune méthode n'a encore été détectée, puis de nouveau après un déplacement de 100 km ou plus depuis l'endroit où elle a été détectée pour la dernière fois. L'application n'en reçoit que le code du pays, afin de choisir la méthode de calcul. Si la méthode est choisie manuellement, aucune requête n'est envoyée.
- Sans accès à la position, les horaires ne peuvent pas être calculés ; l'application affiche alors un bouton pour renouveler la demande.
Notifications
Les rappels de prière sont créés et affichés sur l'appareil lui-même. L'application n'utilise pas de notifications push depuis un serveur et n'obtient pas d'identifiant push.
Calendrier (facultatif)
Si vous activez « Événements du calendrier » dans les paramètres, l'application demande l'accès au calendrier et ajoute au calendrier principal de l'appareil des événements avec les horaires de prière et des rappels.
- L'application ne lit les événements que sur la période de ses rappels et ne modifie ou supprime que ses propres événements (marqués « namazhelper »).
- Si le calendrier principal est lié à un compte, par exemple Google, les événements sont synchronisés avec celui-ci selon les règles de ce service.
- Lorsque vous désactivez l'option, les événements créés par l'application sont supprimés.
Boussole
La boussole utilise uniquement les capteurs de l'appareil ; aucune donnée n'est envoyée.
Statistiques
Nous utilisons Google Firebase Analytics pour comprendre comment l'application est utilisée et l'améliorer. Sont collectés :
- Actions dans l'application : passage d'un onglet à l'autre et modifications des paramètres (thème, délai du rappel, activation des notifications et du calendrier, méthode de calcul, madhab pour Asr, règle des hautes latitudes), ainsi que la langue de l'appareil au premier lancement.
- Identifiants : l'identifiant d'instance de l'application attribué par Firebase, et l'Android ID. L'Android ID est attribué par Android séparément à chaque application sur un appareil, n'est pas visible par les autres applications et change lors d'une réinitialisation d'usine.
- Informations sur l'appareil : modèle, version d'Android et version de l'application.
- Position approximative à partir de l'adresse IP : Firebase détermine le pays et la région à partir de l'adresse IP d'envoi des données. Les coordonnées ne sont pas envoyées aux statistiques.
L'identifiant publicitaire (Advertising ID) n'est pas collecté et les fonctions publicitaires de Firebase sont désactivées. Les données sont envoyées chiffrées (TLS) et traitées par Google conformément aux Règles de confidentialité de Google.
Destinataires des données
Uniquement Google, dans le cadre des services décrits ci-dessus : Firebase Analytics et le service de géocodage. Personne d'autre. Nous ne vendons pas les données et ne les partageons pas à des fins publicitaires.
Conservation et suppression
- Les paramètres et les coordonnées sont stockés uniquement sur l'appareil et ne sont pas inclus dans les sauvegardes cloud d'Android. La désinstallation de l'application les supprime entièrement.
- Le détail des événements est supprimé automatiquement après 2 mois, et les données statistiques liées aux identifiants de l'appareil 14 mois après la dernière utilisation de l'application. Il ne reste ensuite que des statistiques agrégées (par exemple, le nombre d'utilisateurs par pays), qui ne sont liées à aucun appareil.
- Les identifiants statistiques ne sont pas affichés dans l'application et il n'existe pas de compte permettant de retrouver vos données. Sur demande, nous ne pourrons donc très probablement pas déterminer quelles données vous concernent. Pour toute question, écrivez-nous à miri.development@gmail.com et nous essaierons de vous aider.
Autorisations
L'application demande :
- la position approximative ;
- les notifications ;
- alarmes et rappels (Android 12 et versions ultérieures), uniquement pour que les notifications de prière arrivent à l'heure ;
- le calendrier, uniquement si vous activez cette option.
Toute autorisation peut être révoquée dans les paramètres système d'Android. L'application utilise également l'accès à Internet (pour les statistiques) et le démarrage après redémarrage (pour rétablir les rappels).
Enfants
L'application ne s'adresse pas spécifiquement aux enfants de moins de 13 ans, et nous ne collectons pas sciemment leurs données.
Modifications
Si cette politique change, la nouvelle version sera publiée sur cette page avec une nouvelle date.
